C(S)R 101
I’m just going to say right off the bat, I’m not going to get bogged down into the semantics of CSR versus CR…just yet (don’t worry, it will come…). Personally, I believe corporate responsibility is all about your people and changing the way your business operates on every level, sustainably. However, for the purposes of starting a few conversations, humor me on this first post.
If you’re new to the topic of corporate responsibility (or corporate social responsibility as some people refer to it), check out Context America’s list of publications - particularly, I recommend their “Corporate Sustainability in Context” PDF booklet (you’ll even find me quoted in their Winter 2010 edition). Context does incredible sustainability strategy and reporting with some of the world’s biggest and best companies. Not to mention, they’re just good, smart people.
